In 1924, Lou Breslow opened a small retail paint shop in New Jersey with a simple belief: treat every customer’s home like your own. That belief carried the Breslow name through three generations — through decades of change, through evolving tastes, and through the kind of quiet, steady growth that only comes from doing right by people year after year.

Today, more than 100 years later, Breslow Design & Build has evolved into one of the Northeast’s premier custom outdoor living companies. We design and install motorized louvered pergolas, insulated roof structures, retractable shades, and fully integrated outdoor environments for homeowners and commercial properties across New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and beyond.

The tools have changed. The products have changed. But the values haven’t. Hard work, dedication, and a level of customer care that treats every project as if our family name is on it. Because it is.

We’re the region’s top authorized dealer for Azenco, a premium French manufacturer of motorized outdoor structures. Our product line includes the R-Blade motorized louvered roof, R-Shade insulated roof systems, the R-Breeze decorative shade structure, and the K-Bana modular cabana — each engineered for year-round performance and built to last.

We handle residential and commercial projects of any size. Whether it’s a backyard pergola for your family or a large-scale outdoor structure for a restaurant, hotel, or corporate property, we bring the same precision and care to every build.

Our team of 15+ includes dedicated sales consultants, project managers, skilled installation crews, and a permitting and logistics team — all working together so that your experience from first call to final walkthrough is seamless.

We serve homeowners and commercial clients across NJ, NY, CT, PA, DE, MD, RI, and MA, with expansion into Florida and the Southeast underway.
