Modern Aluminum Louvered Roof — Custom AZEK Packout · Bergen County
The Demarest patio was unprotected — full sun, no shade, no way to escape the heat or rain. The clients wanted a louvered roof system large enough to provide real coverage but adjustable enough that they wouldn't feel trapped under a fully shaded patio.

We installed a modern aluminum motorized louvered roof engineered for the patio's exact dimensions. The aluminum extrusions are rated for 165 mph winds; the integrated rain sensor closes the louvers automatically when it detects precipitation. The louvers themselves rotate 90 degrees so the family can dial in any combination of shade and sunlight at the touch of a button.
"One of the trickier details: a gap between the patio walkway and the system created an awkward visual break.
