It started with a paint store. A hundred years later, we're still here.
In 1924, Dana's grandfather opened a small retail paint store in New Jersey. He had little formal education, but he had something harder to teach — a genuine love for his customers. Every person who walked through that door felt it. That feeling became the foundation of everything Breslow has ever built.
Sharon, second generation, worked in the business from age 13 — after school, every single day. She carried her father's values forward through decades of change: from paint to building supplies to the complete transformation of what Breslow is today. "The integrity and the honesty and the wanting to help customers," she says. "It's in our blood."
Dana, third generation, runs the business now — and his son, fourth generation, is already part of the team. The business has evolved from a paint store into the Northeast's most respected installer of motorized outdoor living systems. But the reason people choose Breslow has never changed.

The Founder · 1924
Dana's grandfather started Breslow as a small retail paint store in New Jersey. He had very little formal education, but he had something harder to teach. He loved his customers deeply — every single one of them felt special walking through his door. That relationship, that genuine gratitude, became the DNA of Breslow. "He taught me the basis of business," Sharon remembers. "It's in our blood."

Sharon · The Builder
Sharon, second generation, started working in the family business at age 13 — after school, every day, learning every corner of the operation alongside her father. She expanded Breslow's reach across New Jersey and carried her father's values through decades of change. "The integrity and the honesty and the wanting to help customers," she says. "It's just inherent in us. I don't know how else to say it."

Dana · The Visionary
Dana runs the business today. Under his leadership, Breslow evolved from a home improvement retailer into the Northeast's premier certified Azenco dealer — pioneering the custom Azek architectural wrapping process that has become the company's signature. Emmy-nominated. 9 states. The company his grandfather started in 1924 is now one of the most respected names in outdoor living on the East Coast.

Dana's son — fourth generation — is already part of the business. "1924. Still in business. 2024. Third generation, second generation, my son behind the camera, fourth generation. Are you kidding me?" Dana said at their 100-year anniversary. "We've been waiting for this for a hundred years." The clients the grandfather built relationships with are now sending their children and grandchildren to Breslow.
