Window Blinds

Hunter Douglas Window Blinds

Window blinds are a type of hard window treatment. They are made with louvers that allow you to adjust the amount of light you let into a room and work in a similar way to shutters without being built into the window frame. You can also pull them up so they don’t obstruct your view at all. Blinds are usually made out of wood, aluminum, or fake wood.

There are a number of types of window blinds offered by Hunter Douglas. Our expert team can advise you on the best style for your home.

Skyline

These modern panels are versatile and work for large and small windows. The panels stack when they’re open and display their beautiful design when closed. To top it off you have some serious choice. You can choose from over 600 roller and screen-style fabrics! Not to mention the fact that the panels coordinate seamlessly with the Designer Roller and Screen Shades.

Cadence

These blinds mimic folding drapes… but they also provide terrific sound absorption if you happen to live in a busy urban area. You can choose fabrics that meet your needs when it comes to light, style, and privacy. They also offer a patented headrail that doesn’t allow light to escape into your room through gaps.

Somner

If you are looking for vertical blinds check out the Somner collection.  These custom vertical blinds offer superior light control. You may also choose from a wide range of colors and materials that include:

  • Vinyl
  • Fabric
  • Aluminum

Vertical Solutions

Vertical blinds don’t have to break the bank. This is something I want Breslow Home Design Center clients to know. There are solutions for everyone. If money is tight these vertical blinds provide you with an assortment of patterns and colors.

You can choose between:

  • Fabric
  • Vinyl

Parkland  Hardwood Blinds

Do you love the look of hardwood? Many of our clients do because it’s classic and resilient. Parkland blinds are made of 100% rich hardwood slats that are available in three different sizes and in a variety of colors. If you’re looking for a little flare, they can also be fitted with Parkland wood cornices. You can choose between a variety of styles, heights, and decorative options.

Everwood

If hardwood is out of your budget this is a great alternative. Available in realistic TruGrain finishes or solid colors these blinds can be fitted with operating and decorative upgrades. The good news is these blinds are guaranteed against fading, yellowing, warping or bowing, which makes them perfect for humid or light-filled spaces.

Modern Precious Metals

These sophisticated, minimalist blinds are composed of thin aluminum slats that offer maximum light control.

You can choose from special finishes and textures that include the following options:

  • Metallic
  • Pearlescent
  • Matte

Some of these blinds are available with contoured and beveled headrails and you can also add PowerView Motorization. If you require total light control some models have the De-Light feature that hides cord holes to block light more efficiently. MagnaView is another option you should note if you have a terrific outdoor space you want to see. You get twice the view of ordinary horizontal blinds and increase your light exposure.
